The problem with Chalcedon it is makes it sound like Jesus did miracles by his own attributes of deity. But Scripture does not bear this out. The book of John illustrates that Jesus did miracles by the Father dwelling in him in the power of the Holy Spirit. This is why Jesus did no miracles in his childhood, or early adult life. It was after the Holy Spirit came upon him that the miracles started. The 2nd person of the Trinity, the Logos, kept his identity when he became a man, so he was divine. Chalcedon gave us a Nestorian Jesus with a paradox.

The title of this video should have been "Let's Get Along Whether We Agree or Disagree". When someone has a long introduction in a lecture it is clear to me that they have no substance or have nothing to say about the topic, so they go on a long introduction jumping from subject to subject. I was expecting an examination of SDA theology, but after listening for 15 minutes I could tell that the speaker had nothing to say. I like for a speaker to go right to the point. I am not interested in listening to things that have nothing to do with the topic.

Thanks for posting pastor Byron Spears. Would you mind posting more of his videos if possible? As a child, I remember attending one of his evangelistic campaigns in central California and being impressed by his lectures and the fact that he had the entire Bible memorized. His series ran for several weeks and my parent's not only attended faithfully but made it a point to take us children too. Although we were already attending church and church school on a regular basis we were greatly benefited by the experience, and my younger siblings were baptized by him at the close of the campaign. Thanks again for posting this sermon. Blessings!
